General Note
- If you have legacy hardware (Windows 7 and up) we usually can get the software
running on it. As with many things, you will be happier with new equipment..
-
Single User Systems -
Windows 11 seems to work fine but must customers will be far happier using Windows 10.
Any Windows 10 system you can purchase today will run Furniture
Pro very well. Please use the Typical Server configuration below as a
hardware reference and you will love it. If you really want to increase the speed get a
512 Gig (or bigger) SSD drive as your hard drive. To print CONTRACTS
(multi part form with carbon) we
use the Okidata 320 Turbo printer. In addition you will need a laser
(NOT inkjet) printer for reports etc. You MUST
have Internet Access to update the program.

Multi User Systems -
Windows 11 seems to work fine but must customers will be far happier using Windows 10.
Any Windows 10 system you can purchase today will run Furniture
Pro very well. If you really want to increase the speed get a 512 Gig (or
bigger) SSD drive as your hard drive on the SERVER computer only. To print CONTRACTS
(multi part form with carbon) we
use the Okidata 320 Turbo printer. In addition you will need a laser
(NOT inkjet) printer for reports etc. Our only support option now is the Internet. You MUST
have Internet Access to update the program. The network itself should be at
least of the 100 megabit variety. Gigabit networking is also very nice.
-
Typical Server - Minimum - Core
I3 with 8 gig RAM and Windows 10 Professional. 512 Gig (or larger) hard drive (7200 rpm 8meg cache)
(or equivalent SSD for more speed) - 1080p screen - 100 Megabit Minimum
network (NOT WIFI) - Internet Access -
Several USB Thumb Drives (2 gig) for backup. Somewhere on the LAN should be a
shared laser (NOT inkjet) printer for reports etc and a shared Okidata 320
Turbo if you want to print multi part contracts.
-
Typical Workstation -
Minimum - Core I3 - 4 gig RAM running Windows 10 Home or better, 250 gig hard drive -
1080p screen - 100 Megabit Minimum network (NOT WIFI). With the proper operating
system, we can support up to 15 workstations.
-
It is the responsibility of the hardware
provider to have the network up and running when we come to
install the software. On Windows systems we will do the drive mappings for
our software as part of our installation process..
